Founded in 1988, Briarwood Farms is dedicated to providing ongoing growth opportunities for our long-term clientele of adult amateurs and young riders so that they may continue to learn and improve their riding skills and involvement with horses.

Many of our clients have been with Briarwood for years, and in some cases, we have a number of riders from the same family.

Key to supporting our clients is a well-developed, structured program of instruction that offers continuous skill improvement for our riders in a variety of riding disciplines and activities.

Experienced Instructors
All Briarwood, instructors are expected to adhere to the standards of the profession (Equine Canada Code of Ethics and Coaching Code of Conduct), and instruct under the guidance of Briarwood owner and Equine Canada Level 2 Coach, Jan Humphrey.
